The aim of this study was to analyse descriptively the process of the construction of the goal in the soccer from the following influential variables: situational, spatial, temporal, task and player. The sample is based on 936 goals scored in the Série A of Brazilian Championship in 2013. The analysis of the images was realized by two people, and intra and interobserver agreement had as a reference the application of the Kappa of Cohen index. In order to describe the profile of the phenomena observed the unidimensional descriptive statistic was used, represented by absolute frequencies and percentage related to each category that represents each study variable. The main results highlighted that: the goals occurred more often from the 76 minutes till the end of the game; the mistake made by opponent was what mainly made the goal happen; 78,31% of the goals occurred from a final act of the player inside the penalty area; the place where most of the goals occurred was the right-hand down of the goalkeeper; the highest frequency for the organization of the goal was from 0 to 3 passes and from 0 to 5 seconds; and in 69% of the situations who scored first was the winner of the game. Among other factors, it has been concluded that, in the Brazilian Championship in 2013, the teams showed a lot of speed and few passes up to the moment of the goal, showing that Brazilian soccer had characteristics to use the penalty area, as a priority, to score the goal, and that scoring the first goal of the game offers a higher possibility for victory.en
