Sobre lotes, lares e sonhos : estudo antropológico sobre cotidiano, trajetória social e ação política de moradores da Vila Batista Flores em Porto Alegre - RS

Abstract

Esta dissertação é resultado de um estudo etnográfico sobre cotidiano, trajetória social e ação política de moradores de uma vila irregular de Porto Alegre/RS em processo de regularização fundiária, a Vila Batista Flores. A partir da situação de irregularidade dos moradores, analisa-se suas trajetórias de ocupação dos terrenos, dificuldades, tensões e conflitos vividos, relações sociais estabelecidas, lutas e ações coletivas enraizadas em suas memórias, objetivando a permanência no local, a melhoria das suas condições de vida e a regularização fundiária.

This study results from an ethnografic research aimed to investigate the daily life, social trajectory and political action of inhabitants of an irregular neighborhood in process of urban regularization, the “Vila Batista Flores”in Porto Alegre/ RS. The urban status of neighbourhood occupants was analyzed and their trends of urban territory was traced, as well as their difficulties and conflicts, their established social relationships, their struggle and collective actions stabilished in its memories in order to remain in the area, to improve their life conditions and have the regularization of urban states.
