Rádio Escolar: ampliando o universo cultural dos estudantes

Abstract

Este trabalho monográfico tem por objetivo investigar sobre o potencial da Rádio escolar para a ampliação do universo cultural dos alunos do Ensino Fundamental de uma escola pública do Rio Grande do Sul. O problema da investigação trata de como a Rádio Escolar pode ampliar o universo cultural dos alunos considerando as diferenças culturais. O contexto da pesquisa foi o do espaço da Rádio escolar em funcionamento e as pessoas envolvidas com o processo de desenvolvimento do Projeto Rádio CEM. Parte-se do entendimento de que na escola existem culturas diferentes e do pressuposto de que a programação da Rádio escolar pode contemplar e ampliar o universo cultural, tendo por ponto de partida a cultura dos alunos. A metodologia de pesquisa adotada é a qualitativa e o instrumento aplicado foi o questionário junto a alunos egressos, alunos atuais, pais e professores. Os resultados apontam que a visão de cultura dos professores, alunos e pais é elitista, conteudista e relacionada com a escolarização. Conclui-se que ampliar o universo cultural dos alunos através da Rádio Escolar significa investir na lógica da cultura inclusiva.

This monograph aims to investigate the potential of radio school to expand the cultural universe of elementary school students in a public school in Rio Grande do Sul The research problem deals with how the School Radio can extend the cultural universe of students considering cultural differences. The research context was the space of Radio school in operation and the people involved with the process of development of the Project Radio CEM. This started from the understanding that there are different cultures in the school and the assumption that the programming of Radio school can contemplate and expand the cultural universe, with the starting point of the students' culture. We applied the methodology of qualitative research, applied questionnaires to alumni, current students, parents and teachers.. The results indicate that the vision of the culture of teachers, students and parents is elitist, and content-related education. We conclude that expand the cultural universe of students through the School Radio means investing in the logic of inclusive culture.
