O uso de tecnologias assistivas, visando potencializar a aprendizagem de alunos com necessidades educativas especiais

Abstract

A presente monografia trata de um estudo sobre as tecnologias assistivas, bem como a forma em que se apresentam e são direcionadas aos alunos com necessidades especiais, de forma a favorecer a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento de habilidades. Para tanto, além de conhecer estas tecnologias, foi necessário compreender a forma em que se apresentam e, para que servem, bem como onde e como estão inseridas no cotidiano escolar. Também foi abordado o papel do professor, frente ao trabalho junto às tecnologias e sua formação para o mesmo. Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida através de questionário enviado à assessora da rede municipal de ensino do município de Viamão, bem como entrevistas e relatos das professoras da Escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Frederico Dihl. No âmbito dos professores, foi analisado seu papel como facilitador e aprendiz para o uso das tecnologias assistivas (TA) e as possibilidades oferecidas para que sua prática de fato alcance e priorize a aprendizagem dos alunos com necessidades educativas especiais. Através das entrevistas foi possível conhecer a realidade desta escola e o conhecimento prévio dos professores acerca do assunto. Buscou-se identificar junto com o corpo docente a importância e o papel da TA na escola. Da mesma forma, a partir do relato e entrevista realizada com a assessora da Secretaria Municipal de Educação (SME), foi possível compreender e delinear o caminho do uso e inserção da TA no município de Viamão, bem como sua presença e aplicabilidade junto às escolas.

This monograph is a study about assistive technologies, as well as the way they present themselves and are directed to students with special needs, in order to promote learning and skills development. Therefore, in addition to knowing these technologies, it will be necessary to understand the way in which they are presented , what they are for, and where and how they are embedded in school life. It will be also discussed the role of the teacher face to the work with the technologies and his training for that. This research will be conducted using a questionnaire sent to the advisor of the municipal schools of Viamão as well as interviews and reports from teachers of Frederico Dihl elementary municipal school. As part of the teachers, will be examined their role as facilitators and learners for the use of assistive technologies (AT) and the offered possibilities for its practical can really reach and prioritize the learning of the students with special educational needs. Through the interviews will be possible to know the reality of this school and the teachers' previous knowledge on the subject. It is desired to identify with the faculty the importance and role of the TA in school. Likewise, from the story and interview with the advisor of the Municipal Education Board (SME), it will be possible to understand and delineate the way of insertion and the use of TA in the municipality of Viamão as well as its presence in the schools and its applicability.
