Sementes adormecidas : despertando a natureza em mim

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta os objetos Venusementes: esculturinhas efêmeras e portáteis cujo objetivo é integrar-se ao meio. Feitas de argila crua com sementes dentro, elas unem a simbologia das Vênus pré-históricas à fertilidade das sementes e à impermanência da natureza. Desejo mostrar através das ações artísticas que brotam deste objeto, como, para mim, a natureza é sagrada. A intenção das Venusementes é mostrar, através da Arte, nossa esquecida conexão com a Terra.

This paper presents the Venusementes objects: little portable sculptures whose purpose is to integrate with the environment. Made of raw clay with seeds inside, they link the symbolism of prehistoric Venus with the fertility of the seeds and the impermanence of nature. My desire is to show through the artistic actions that sprout from this object, how, to me, the nature is sacred. The Venusementes intention is to show, through the Arts, our forgotten connection to the Earth.
