Sentidos políticos da reforma do judiciário no Brasil

Abstract

Este trabalho é resultado de uma pesquisa que teve por objetivo reconstituir as concepções de poder Judiciário que entram em jogo no debate em torno de sua “Reforma”, ao longo da década de 90 e parte da década de 2000. A constituição do material da pesquisa ocorre predominantemente através de métodos qualitativos, particularmente, o exame de pronunciamentos, produção bibliográfica e realização de entrevistas com lideranças de magistrados que se destacaram nas instâncias que definiram as propostas de “Reforma do Judiciário”.

This work is the result of a research which aims at remaking the conceptions of the Judiciary power which join in the debate around its “Reform”, along the nineties and part of the year 2000. The making of the research material occurs mainly through the qualitative methods specially the checking of statements, bibliographical production and holding interviews with the judges and political leaderships who stood out in the instances that defined the “Judiciary Reform’s” propositions.
