This essay is an attempt to explore some of the apparatuses which are in operation in the school spaces in order to capture everything that is seen as different. For we think that it is in this interplay of localizations that school curricula have worked to “normalize” the difference, imposing a single version of what becoming-child, learning and culture means. A clear example of this is the popular saying “sound minds in sound bodies”, one of the central statements in the general attempt to silence the voices of difference. This silencing is the result of a despotic development of a power that has imposed a single way of being educated and healthy. Yet, in spite of all the silences, injuries and stigmas of the last decades, this “black” hole has been interrogated by the irruption of different social and cultural ways of life, as well by different ways of living one’s own identity. It is from this “beyond the walls” that springs up another way of naming the difference. This process threatens do des-organize this school setting, infiltrating itself into these spaces, making an uproar and disfiguring the inscriptions on the white walls. It is in this sense that we are alerted by Deleuze’s voices, when he shows us the multiple becomings of the apparatuses of capture.en
