dc.description.abstractO filme “Onde Fica a Casa do Meu Amigo?”, de Abbas Kiarostami, traz a relação de dois amigos. Mohammad foi três vezes advertido pelo professor por não comparecer à aula com o dever devidamente resolvido no caderno. O professor rasga a folha exibida por Mohammad, e ameaça expulsar o menino se ele voltar a apresentar tarefas escolares em folhas avulsas. De posse do caderno de Mohammad, o amigo Ahmad cuida do caderno com fidelidade, vigilância e empenho. Até tenta explicar para a mãe, o avô, e outras pessoas a necessidade de procurar o amigo para devolver o caderno, mas não obtém êxito. Mohammad e Ahmad imergem no secreto que subsiste às exposições e se inscreve no caderno. O argumento do filme apresenta certa relação com o caderno e o amigo, movimenta interrogações que circundam o caderno, o uso do caderno em uma escola, e a amizade que se faz, muitas vezes, condição para pensar, e ir além dos próprios limites. Interessa explorar, neste artigo, elementos do argumento e problemáticas desafiadas pelo filme, especialmente os conceitos de público e de privado.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThe movie “Where is my Friend’s House”, by Abbas Kiarostami, shows the relationship between two friends. Mohammad was scolded three times by the teacher because he came to class without finishing his homework in his notebook. The teacher rips the paper presented by Mohammad, and threatens to expel the boy if he presents his homework in a separated sheet. Holding Mohammad’s notebook, his friend Ahmad takes care of it with loyalty, vigilance and commitment. He even tries to explain to his mother, grandfather, and other people the necessity of finding his friend to give his notebook back, but is unsuc cessful. Mohammad and Ahmad dive in secret that subsists exposures and inscribes itself in the notebook. The argument of the movie has some connection with the notebook and with the friend, moves questions surrounding the notebook, the use of a notebook in a school, and the friendship that is often condition to think and go beyond oneself limits. This article’s goal is to explore elements of the argument and problematic challenged by the movie, specially the concepts of public and private.en
