Event-related potentials (ERP) are psychophysiological signals present in the electroencephalogram (EEG), obtained as records of endogenous responses to sensory stimuli or correlate to cognitive processes. They may be identified on the EEG as a signal change when a stimulus is presented or when a response is emmited by the subjectThe objective of this monograph was to review the literature in order to raise the different declarative memory tasks that have the effect of component P300 ERPs. For this, a systematic review of empirical articles investigating the P300 component, indexed in major scientific journals in Portuguese and English languages was carried out, which is a cognitive potential identified in correlation with different effects, such as distinctiveness of stimuli and error detection. We sought to identify the use of different tasks used in conjunction with this technique, and to evaluate the quality of studies and consistency of cognitive and behavioral effects related to the P300.en
