Os significados da educação física na perspectiva dos estudantes do ensino médio : um estudo de caso em uma escola de Porto Alegre

Abstract

O presente estudo busca compreender quais os significados atribuídos pelos estudantes do Ensino Médio de uma determinada escola pública de Porto Alegre em relação à Educação Física Escolar, tendo como objetivos entender como estes estudantes pensam e encaram a disciplina. E assim poder propor formas de deixar as aulas mais atrativas para os estudantes, para aumentar a participação ativa dos mesmos e evitar a evasão das aulas. A pesquisa usa uma abordagem qualitativa, e as informações foram coletadas por meio de um questionário com perguntas abertas. Ao todo 27 estudantes colaboraram com esta investigação, sendo 16 do gênero feminino e 11 do gênero masculino. O processo analítico mostra que a visão que os estudantes tem é de uma educação física esportivizada mas que também tem seu foco no trabalho a promoção da saúde, e que o principal fator de motivação ou desmotivação vem pela forma com que o professor trabalha (ou não) seus conteúdos em aula.

This study seeks to understand the meaning attributed by high school students of a particular public school in Porto Alegre in relation to physical education, with the objective to understand how these students think and face discipline. And so to propose ways to make the most attractive classes for students to increase the active participation of the same and avoid circumvention of classes. The research uses a qualitative approach, and the information was collected through a questionnaire with open questions. Altogether 27 students collaborated with this research, 16 female and 11 male. The analytical process shows that the vision that the students have is a physical education esportivizada but also focuses on work health promotion , and that the main factor of motivation or demotivation is the way in which the teacher works (or not ) their contents in class
