A influência dos passes certos e posse de bola no resultado dos jogos de futebol da champions league 2016

Abstract

O objetivo do presente estudo de cunho quantitativo e descritivo foi observar a influência dos passes certos e da posse de bola nos resultados dos jogos da UEFA Champions League 2015/1016. Para isso, foram analisadas 145 partidas desse torneiro, incluindo as fases de playoffs, de grupos, oitavas de final, quartas de final, semifinais e final. Os dados foram obtidos através do site da União das Federações Europeias de Futebol (UEFA). Os resultados mostraram que as variáveis estudadas parecem ter tido maior influência no resultado de vitória dos jogos, especialmente na fase inicial, onde havia um maior desequilíbrio entre as equipes. Já nas demais fases e principalmente nas fases finais as variáveis estudadas apresentaram pouca influência no resultado dos jogos. Concluiu-se que as variáveis estudadas são importantes, contudo num nível elevado de competição como a Champions League, outros fatores podem contribuir para o resultado dos jogos.

The purpose of this quantitative and descriptive study was to observe the influence of completed passes and ball possession in the results of the UEFA Champions League 2015/1016 matches. For that, 145 games of this champonship were analyzed, including the phases of playoffs, groups, round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and final. The data was obtained through the website of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The results showed that the studied variables seem to have had a greater influence on the victory result of the matches, especially in the initial phase, where there was a greater imbalance between the teams. In the other phases and mainly in the final stages, the variables studied had little influence on the results of the matches. It was concluded that the studied variables are important, but in a high level of competition like the Champions League, other factors can contribute to the results of the matches.
