Rede MPLS, tecnologias e tendências de evolução tecnológicas

Abstract

A Rede Núcleo de Dados Multiprotocol Label Switching(MPLS) é uma tecnologia consolidada no BackBones IP das Operadoras de Telecomunicações no Mercado Brasileiro, que possibilita a transição de tecnologias de Rede Núcleo mais antigas, como por exemplo, Frame-Relay, e além disso, possibilita agregar novos tipos de serviços e também como essa tecnologia é baseada em Protocolo IP permite a diminuição contínua dos custos referentes a tais Redes. Esta tecnologia será uma das bases da nova Rede Pública de Telecomunicações, o futuro das Rede Núcleo. Existem várias vantagens em relação a Rede MPLS: prover Engenharia de Tráfego, VPN, e facilitar a implantação de QoS na rede. Este trabalho visa estudar a tecnologia da Rede MPLS e também analisar como evoluirá essa tecnologia e qual será a tendência de evolução das mesmas para Provedores de Serviços de Telecomunicações e seus usuários finais. Tais estudos e análises visam estabelecer conhecimentos sobre tais tecnologias, processos e os consequentes benefícios de sua utilização em ambientes corporativos.

The Network Data Center Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) technology is a consolidated IP backbone of the telecommunications operators in the Brazilian market, which enables the transition of technology from Network Core older, such as Frame- Relay, and furthermore, allows adding new types of services and how this technology is based on IP protocol allows for the continuous decline in costs relating to such networks. This technology will be one of the foundations of the new public telecommunications network, the future of the Network Center. There are several advantages over MPLS Network: providing Traffic Engineering, VPN, and facilitate the deployment of QoS in the network. This paper aims to study the technology of MPLS Network and also examine how this technology will evolve and what is the trend of development of the same for Telecommunications Service Providers and their end users. Such studies and analysis to establish knowledge about such technologies, processes and the resulting benefits of their use in corporate environments.
