"Eu, a casa e a escola": narrativas de adolescentes em conflito com a lei acerca de si, da casa abrigo e da escola

Abstract

Esta Dissertação tem como objetivo visibilizar como diversas narrativas operam sobre comportamentos dos Meninos da Casa Abrigo - Associação do Adolescente Nova Vida, localizada no bairro Primavera, no município de Novo Hamburgo / RS, problematizando a produção de um sujeito narrado como "Menino da Casa". A investigação se inscreve numa trajetória de inspiração etnográfica, buscando trabalhar com análise de narrativas, tendo em vista uma teia enunciativa que permite criar verdades sobre a situação e a produção desses Meninos. Para tanto, utiliza-se de aportes teóricos ligados aos Estudos Culturais em Educação e em Michel Foucault, numa perspectiva teórica pós-estruturalista. Os sujeitos internos nesta instituição são adolescentes em conflito com a lei que, por cometimento de ato infracional, por serem dependentes de substâncias psicoativas e/ou por estarem em estado de vulnerabilidade social, são enviados à mesma. O estudo analisou um conjunto de narrativas desses adolescentes acerca do que dizem sobre si próprios e sobre os lugares onde foram postos para serem corrigidos de seu estado de incorrigibilidade. Por meio das narrativas, foi possível perceber que a Casa Abrigo precisa, perante a sociedade, mostrar sua produtividade em relação à normalização desses sujeitos e, ao agir sobre suas condutas, investe em algumas estratégias, cuja interseção de discursos centra-se na espiritualidade, no trabalho e na valorização da família. Também, foi possível entender que essa mesma instituição representa uma possibilidade de terceirização de alguns serviços da cidade de origem de cada adolescente, na medida em que o poder público, na intenção de livrar-se desse Menino que representa risco para sua cidade, envia-o a uma instituição localizada em um município vizinho, como depositária desse sujeito.

This dissertation aims to understand how several narratives operate on the behavior of " The boys from the Shelter House" - an Adolescent Association located on Primavera neighbourhood in the city of Novo Hamburgo, in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil, problematizing the production of an individual called in the narrative as "the boy from the House". The investigation is made in an etnographical inspiration and it works with narrative analyses, in an enunciative net which creates truths about the situation and the production of these boys. Thus, using theorical support conected to the Cultural Studies in Education by Michel Foucalt in a post-structuralist perspective. The boys who are living in this Institution are adolescents in conflict with the law and they are there for having commited an inappropriately act, for being dependents on psychoactive substances and/or for being in a social vulnerability condition. The present study has analysed a set of these adolescents´narratives focusing on what they say about themselves and about the places where they had been put to be "corrected" in their behavior. Through these narratives, it was perceived that the Shelter House needs to show its productivity in front of the society in relation to the normalization of these individuals by acting on their behavior.The Institution invests in some strategies to act and interact with the boys whose intersection of the discourses is based on the spirituality of its work and also on focusing the importance of the family in this context. It was also possible to verify through this study that this Institution - The Shelter House - represents a possibility of outsoursing of some services of the origin city of each of those adolescents as the public power with the intention of getting rid of each one of these "Boys" who represent a risk to their birth town - take them to an institution located in a nearby city as a depository place of these individuals.
