Quando amar é um problema : os significados de amar demais a partir do MADA

Abstract

A presente monografia aborda o amor e as relações amorosas a partir de uma reflexão sobre o "problema de relacionamento". Trata-se de uma etnografia que tem como principal objetivo identificar os diferentes significados do amor e os conflitos decorrentes da experiência amorosa a partir de uma análise dos rituais, das estratégias terapêuticas e do discurso das integrantes do grupo MADA - Mulheres que Amam Demais Anônimas. O valor conferido ao amor e o papel do sujeito como agente desse amor são problematizados tomando-se a ideologia individualista enquanto fundamental na construção da noção de pessoa no mundo contemporâneo. O recorte de gênero realizado pelo grupo, aliado a um ideal de mulher buscado pelas MADAs, também é objeto de análise na busca pelos significados de amar demais.

This dissertation refers to love and relationships from a view point focusing on the "predicament of relationships". This work is an ethnography which has as its main objective to identify the different signifiers of love and the conflicts arising from the experience of loving, based on an analysis of the habits, therapeutic strategies and the discourse of the members of MADA - Unknown Women who Love Too Much. The value associated to love and the role of the individual as an agent of this love is problematic. This is the case because it has an individualist ideology which is fundamental to construct the essence of a being in the contemporary world. The thematic of gender cared out by the group, combined with the ideal of women sought by members of MADA is also the object of analysis in the search of signifiers of love in excess.
