Ventos do apocalipse : ventos de mudança em tempos de pós

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como intuito analisar a obra Ventos do Apocalipse de Paulina Chiziane, escritora moçambicana. A leitura está baseada nos estudos Pós-coloniais, propostos por Homi Bhabha, Stuart Hall e Edward Said (respeitando os desencontros teóricos entre eles, e considerando apenas aqueles que são aplicáveis para esta leitura, que não é teorização pós-colonial). Alinhando-se ainda, nesta pesquisa, ao grupo de pesquisadores que têm estudado aspectos da oralidade: Paul Zumthor e Ana Mafalda Leite, a última estuda especificamente as Literaturas Luso-Africanas. Críticos, como Laura Padilha, Carmem Lúcia Tindó, Inocência Mata e Pires Laranjeira, deram o aporte teórico para a construção crítica desta leitura e para a compreensão dos aspectos que distinguem e historicizam as Literaturas Africanas. A escolha por este romance está no fato de ele ser um dos romances contemporâneos da Literatura Moçambicana que expõe todo o horror da guerra civil (social, religioso e político), todas as dificuldades enfrentadas pelo sujeito feminino neste universo patriarcal, e o engajamento da escritora na reconstrução do país. Chiziane, em seu romance, dá importância a aspectos como História, papel da mulher, oralidade e corpo, focos principais desta pesquisa. A partir destes aspectos da obra da autora e do aporte teórico foi possível perceber que a Literatura Moçambicana, construída entre a oralidade do cotidiano e a Língua Portuguesa, tida como troféu de guerra, constitui-se num espaço de reescrever a nação e abrir um espaço para que, ao menos na Literatura, haja ventos de mudança.

This work has as objective to analyze the work Ventos do Apocalipse, by Paulina Chiziane, Mozambican writer. The reading is based on Post-colonial studies, proposed by Homi Bhabha, Stuart Hall and Edward Said (respecting the theoretical disagreements between them, and considering only those that apply to this reading, which is not postcolonial theory). In line with yet, this research, to the group of researchers who have studied aspects of orality: Paul Zumthor and Ana Mafalda Leite, the last study specifically the Luso-African Literatures. Critics, like Laura Padilha, Carmem Lúcia Tindó, Inocência Mata and Pires Laranjeira gave theoretical support for the construction of critical reading and to understand the aspects that distinguish and historicize the African Literatures. The choice for this novel is in the fact it is one of the novels of contemporary of Mozambican Literature that exposes all the horrors of civil war (social, religious and political), all the difficulties faced by the female subject in this patriarchal world, and engagement of the writer in the country's reconstruction. Chiziane, in her novel, gives importance to aspects such as history, role of women, orality and body, main foci of this research. From these aspects of the work of the author and the theoretical input was possible to see that the Mozambican literature, built between the orality of the daily and Portuguese, taken as a trophy of war, constitutes a space of rewriting the nation and open a space for, at least in Literature, there are winds of change.
