dc.description.abstractEste trabalho investiga como se desenvolveu a trajetória profissional de mulheres que passaram pela universidade nas décadas de 40 e 50 do século XX, pela escuta de suas memórias sobre suas trajetórias educativas, profissionais e familiares. Objetiva escutar a história da relação entre as possibilidades de acesso ao ensino superior e profissionalização para mulheres, na década de 1950, em Porto Alegre, seu significado como instituidor de identidade, limites e abrangências tendo em vista trajetórias profissionais e de vida de algumas mulheres - o que inclui o casamento como marco fundamental porque definidor de possibilidades e trajetórias e o significado social atribuído ao diploma profissional, dado por elas mesmas e pela sociedade onde se inserem, ou seja, um determinado tempo, um certo lugar e pelas pessoas com quem viveram e conviveram. Foram realizadas 22 entrevistas com mulheres hoje na faixa dos 70 ou 80 anos que narraram suas memórias sobre suas escolhas profissionais e estratégias de vida. Foi utilizada a história Oral e entrevistas semi estruturadas em seguida transcritas. Durante as entrevistas foi possível identificar justificativas para as escolhas pessoais dessas mulheres - tanto num sentido como em outro, a fim de colocá-las ou mantê-las em um patamar já estruturado pelas disposições constitutivas do habitus de classe e gênero de que são portadoras, representantes e defensoras em consonância às suas condições objetivas, engendrando quase um outro lugar, mas ainda permanecendo o mesmo. Uma condição de classe apenas falsamente identificada como inovadora ou inédita. As mudanças em curso não modificaram as posições das mulheres nas relações de gênero, pois a subordinação em relação ao homem se manteve, mesmo portadoras de diploma de educação superior, o que possibilitaria o acesso de algumas mulheres ao trabalho e, conseqüentemente, à situações e formas próprias de alcançar dinheiro, o que poderia significar liberdade, independência e autonomia, elas optaram por manter a tradição quanto aos papéis e lugares de gênero na família. A permanência em posições e lugares de marginalidade nas relações de gênero, apesar das possibilidades econômicas construídas pelo título, mostra que este não assegurava, por si só, o cumprimento dessas mudanças.pt_BR
dc.description.abstractThis work investigates how women education has developed for the ones who had gone through university studies at the 40's and 50's of the XX century, by listening their memories about their educative, professional and familiar trajectories. It aims to listens the history of the relationship designed through access possibilities to graduated studies and professionalization of women at the fifties in Porto Alegre. It studies this process as meaning gathering as well as identity , limits and boundaries looking life and professional trajectories of some women - concerning also matrimony as a remarkable point since it defines possibilities in life stories. It also concerns with the social meaning of diplomas, given by this women and their society where they are in, it means, certain time, certain place and people with whom they lived. There have been 22 interwies with women which are today around their seventies or eighty years old. Their narrate their memories about their professional choices and life strategies. The Oral History was utilized and as soon as possible transcript. During enterwies it was possible to identify this women personal choices justifications- as well in a level or another forward put them in a already structured disposition, constitutive of a class and gender habitus of themselves and of whom they sponsor, they are representative and defensors concerning their objective conditions. All of it builds almost another place for them as women, but at the same time maintain steel the same. A class condition just falsely identified as innovator or inedited. Changes in course did not change women position at gender relationships as men subordination maintains itself, not even superior education diplomas were enough to enable access to work to this women and consequently access to their own way to get money and independence. They have opted to maintain tradition related to gender relationship, even economic possibilities built up by title showing it is not enough to ensure, by itself the accomplishment of this changes.en
