Materiais didáticos para violão : um recorte para o público iniciante

Abstract

O presente trabalho aborda a iniciação ao violão através da análise crítica e reflexiva de um método brasileiro dedicado ao instrumento, direcionado ao público iniciante. O objetivo do trabalho foi identificar e conhecer recursos didáticos dos materiais selecionados, analisando a presença de elementos que atendessem às especificidades do público-alvo em seu processo de ensino e aprendizagem. A metodologia utilizada para a realização do trabalho foi a pesquisa documental, orientada pelos seguintes elementos como alvo de análise: notação musical no sistema de pentagrama e tablaturas, repertório musical em peças originais ou arranjadas, ilustrações instrucionais, ordem progressiva de conteúdo e orientações técnicas. Para a escolha de um método a ser analisado de forma mais aprofundada, foi realizada uma pré-análise comparativa de diversos materiais didáticos, e o livro “Minhas Primeiras Notas ao Violão”, de Othon Gomes da Rocha Filho, atendeu aos critérios concebidos para a proposta Constatou-se que, de forma geral, o referido método é uma possibilidade adequada para ser trabalhada com pessoas iniciantes, pois o autor tem o cuidado de selecionar os conteúdos e ordená-los, utilizando ilustrações e linguagem acessível para facilitar o entendimento do leitor. É possível afirmar, portanto, que o livro proporciona iniciação ao instrumento de maneira concomitante à alfabetização musical, incentivando a autonomia ao músico iniciante e, assim, tanto ele quanto o professor terão subsídios consistentes para apoiar a fase inicial de ensino e aprendizagem do instrumento. Além disso, o usuário também é incentivado a trabalhar o referido método aliado a outros materiais, conforme as demandas surgirem. Embora possua algumas limitações, conclui-se que este material é um recurso possível de ser trabalhado junto ao público-alvo, possuindo contribuições relevantes no contexto estudado.

This work addresses beginner guitar learning through the critical and reflective analysis of a Brazilian guitar method aimedat begners people. The objective of this study was to identify and learn the teaching methods of the materials selected, analysing the presence of elements that met the specificities of the target group in their teaching and learning process. The methodology used for the work was documentary research, guided by the following elements as a target for analysis: musical notation, musical repertoire in original or arranged pieces, instructional illustrations, progressive order of content, and technical orientations. In order to select a method to be analysed in more depth, a comparative pre-analysis of several didactic materials was carried out, and the book Minhas Primeiras Notas ao Violão, by Othon Gomes da Rocha Filho, met the criteria developed for the proposal. It was found that, in general, the method is adequate for beginners, since the author was careful to select the contents and put them in order, using illustrations and accessible language for easierunderstanding. It is possible to affirm, therefore, that the book enables beginners to learn the instrument concomitantly with music notation, encouraging the autonomy of the beginning musician. Thus, both student the teacher will have consistent information to support the initial phase of teaching and learning the instrument. Besides, the user is also encouraged to make use of the method in combination with other materials as demands arise. In conclusion, although the material has some limitations, it can be used with the target group and has relevant contributions in the context of this study.
