A vermicompostagem na escola : uma atividade para educandos multiplicadores do conhecimento em Ciências

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo, apresentar os resultados de investigação relacionados à prática docente em ciências, onde percebeu-se a necessidade de uma mudança. A pesquisa tem por objetivo identificar a aprendizagem significativa do conceito da vermicompostagem no curso Técnico em Agropecuária, proporcionando aos educandos, tornarem-se multiplicadores deste conhecimento, em uma ação docente reflexiva, na divulgação de composteiras residenciais para a comunidade escolar. Foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa-ação de cunho qualitativo, pois considera-se a atuação direta do pesquisador na ação: “mesclar” o conhecimento produzido na sala de aula com aqueles produzidos a partir das experiências da comunidade escolar, possibilitando a discussão e reflexão que levem a mudança de atitudes e aprendizagens. O projeto foi desenvolvido no primeiro semestre de 2019 na Estadual de Ensino Médio Ildefonso Simões Lopes, município de Osório/RS. Iniciou com a apresentação de slides sobre vermicompostagem pela pesquisadora e ministradas oficinas sobre a importância da separação dos resíduos para inseri-los em um processo de compostagem orgânica. Os educandos participaram destas oficinas, onde realizaram um manejo no minhocário da escola e construíram composteiras caseiras em pontos estratégicos da escola para facilitar a colocação dos resíduos. Após, elaboraram informativos para distribuir na comunidade escolar para orientar sobre os descartes corretos dos alimentos e sobre composteira na escola. Também foi apresentado um “banner” explicativo. Com estes materiais de divulgação, os educandos conseguiram proporcionar um intercâmbio de conhecimentos entre professores e alunos e evidenciaram uma aprendizagem significativa, pois nestes materiais instrucionais, os estudantes explicitavam conhecimentos do cotidiano da comunidade escolar articulados com conceitos de ciências relacionados a temática da vermicompostagem. Ao mesmo tempo foi um momento de promoção da reflexão da teoria e prática do trabalho docente da escola.

This work has as objective, to present the results of research related to teaching practice in science, where he realized the need for a change. The research aims to identify the meaningful learning of the concept of the vermicomposting in technical course in agriculture, providing learners, become multipliers of knowledge in a reflective teaching action, in the dissemination of residential composteiras for the school community. It was developed an action research of a qualitative nature, because it considers direct actuation of the researcher in action: "merge" the knowledge produced in the classroom with those produced from the experiences of the school community, allowing the discussion and reflection that will lead to a change in attitudes and learning. The project was developed in the first half of 2019 in the State of Middle School Ildefonso Simões Lopes, municipality of Osório/RS. It started with the presentation of slides about vermicomposting by researcher and taught workshops on the importance of the separation of waste to insert them into a process of organic composting. The students participated in these workshops, where they underwent a management on minhocário school and homemade composteiras built at strategic points of the school to facilitate the placement of waste. Afterwards, they produced informational materials to distribute in the school community to provide guidance on correct discards of food and composts in school. It was also presented a "banner" explanatory. With these materials for dissemination, the students managed to provide an exchange of knowledge among teachers and students and showed a significant learning, because these instructional materials, students explicitavam knowledge of the daily life of the school community articulated with science concepts related to the theme of the vermicomposting. At the same time was a time of promotion of reflection of the theory and practice of the teaching work of the school.
