O poder e a ética da bancada evangélica na política

Abstract

Esse trabalho busca analisar como o crescimento da Bancada Evangélica pode vir a influenciar politicamente num país considerado como laico. Para isso resolveu investigar a ascensão da Bancada Evangélica nas eleições e o real impacto dessa camada política tão ligada à religião. O estudo irá verificar se o que a Bancada Evangélica prega está realmente sendo condizente com as necessidades básicas de saúde, educação e trabalho e se são harmônicas com o embasamento ético teológico. Esta análise será feita com base nos seus votos em eleições na Câmara dos Deputados e verificando assim se os votos da Frente Parlamentar Evangélica foram coerentes com pautas que dizem defender perante a população trabalhadora em casos econômicos ou em causas sociais.

This work seeks to analyze how the growth of the evangelical group can influence politically in a country considered as secular. For this he decided to investigate the rise of the evangelical bench in the elections and the real impact of this political layer so linked to religion. The study will verify whether what the evangelical workbench preaches is actually commensurate with the basic needs of health, education and work and whether they are harmonious with the ethical theological foundation. This analysis will be based on their votes in elections in the Chamber of Deputies and thus verifying if the votes of the Evangelical Parliamentary Front were consistent with guidelines that claim to defend against the working population in economic cases or in social causes.
