A escrita na psicose

Abstract

No presente trabalho analisaremos textos de pacientes psicóticos que participam do grupo terapêutico denominado “Atelier de Escrita”, que se reúne no Centro de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS) Região Centro de Porto Alegre. Nossas análises são norteadas pelas seguintes questões: 1. dentro de uma perspectiva lingüístico-discursiva, como pode ser compreendida a irrupção de efeito de não-sentido no texto do psicótico e qual o funcionamento discursivo subjacente a esse efeito? 2. haveria autoria na escrita do psicótico? No primeiro capítulo, expomos o dispositivo teórico que vai ser utilizado nas análises. Filiamo-nos à Análise do Discurso de Michel Pêcheux. Em nossa reflexão teórica, cotejamos algumas noções da Análise do Discurso com suas similares na Psicanálise. No terceiro capítulo, mostramos por que, para trabalharmos com um arquivo que pertence à área da clínica do doente mental, tivemos de sair dessa área e nos deslocar para a Análise do Discurso. Para tanto, mostramos as condições de produção dos textos analisados. Realizamos um apanhado histórico do tratamento de doenças mentais no Brasil da Reforma Psiquiátrica nos anos 70 e uma retomada histórica de como a psicose é construída sócio-discursivamente. Examinamos como é construído o locutor-psicótico, a fim de vislumbrar um efeito de leitura que seja socialmente estabelecido nos textos a serem analisados. No quarto capítulo, examinamos a questão do não-sentido na escrita psicótica. Para isso, com o auxílio da Psicanálise, tentaremos compreender quais são as relações do real com a psicose, principalmente em relação à constituição da realidade nessa subjetividade. As análises que compõem esse capítulo dizem respeito aos diferentes funcionamentos de irrupção do real nos textos estudados. Analisaremos dois funcionamentos distintos de irrupção do real: pelo ato de nomeação e pelas semelhanças das palavras. Estudamos também como o real irrompe na presença dos sinais de pontuação e na ausência da pontuação. No quinto capítulo, propomos a questão da autoria na psicose por duas vias. A primeira leva a pensar a relação entre autoria e leitura na psicose. Essa seção desemboca em outra, denominada “Autoria como represamento do interdiscurso e estancamento do real”. Nessa seção, refletimos como o sujeito psicótico escapa da injunção do não-sentido no texto e conseqüentemente inclui nele o sujeito-leitor. A segunda propõe-se a analisar o grau de presença de autoria nos textos estudados a partir de duas noções formuladas no presente trabalho: inscrição e “escrição”. Finalizaremos nosso trabalho com considerações a respeito da inclusão do arquivo de textos de psicóticos nas pesquisas da Análise do Discurso.

In the present thesis we will analyze texts from psychotic patients who participate in the therapeutic group called “Atelier da Escrita”, whose meetings occur in the Center of Psychosocial Attention (CAPS) downtown Porto Alegre. Our analysis will be guided by the following questions: 1. From a discursive-linguistic viewpoint, how the irruption of the nonsense effect in the psychotic text can be understood and what is the discursive functioning related to this effect? 2. Is there authorship in the psychotic text? In the first chapter, we will debate the theoretical instruments which will be used in our analysis. We affiliate ourselves with Michel Pêcheux’s Discourse Analysis. In our theoretical reflection, we compare some notions of Discourse Analysis with similar ones in Psychoanalysis. In the third chapter – demonstrating the conditions of production of the texts studied - we show why, in order to work with an archive which belongs to the clinic of the mental patient, we had to draw on Discourse Analysis. We also delve into the historical context of the treatment of mental sicknesses in the 1970s Psychiatric Reform’s Brazil. We study how psychosis was built discursively and socially through history. We examine how the psychotic speaker is build, so as to observe in the texts a reading-effect that is socially established. In the fourth chapter, we study the question of nonsense in he psychotic texts, trying to understand – with help from Psychoanalysis – how the real and psychosis relate, especially regarding to the building of reality in this subjectivity. This chapter’s analyses relate to the different modes of functioning of the irruption of the real in the analyzed texts. We will study the different forms of the functioning of the irruption of the real: by the act of nominating and by the similitude between words. We also study how the real irrupt in the presence of punctuation marks and in their absence. In the fifth chapter, we propose the question of authorship in psychosis through two means. The first brings us to think in the relation between authorship and reading in psychosis. This section results in another, named “Authorship as the damming of interdiscourse and the blocking of the real”. In this section, we reflect on how the psychotic subject escapes from the injunction of nonsense in the text and consequently includes the subject-reader in it. The second proposes to analyze the level of the presence of authorship in the studied texts based on two notions formulated in the present thesis: inscription and “excription”. We conclude our work with considerations regarding the inclusion of the archives of texts from psychotic in the researches of Discourse Analysis.
