Futebol feminino : apontamentos sobre motivações e dificuldades para uma equipe desta modalidade

Abstract

O Futebol é considerado a paixão do povo brasileiro, mas não é exclusiva dos homens. Com o crescimento da participação feminina na modalidade futebol, agregando conquistas e mostrando competência na representação em competições oficiais de nível nacional e internacional, muitas meninas procuram essa modalidade para praticar. A partir da discussão de gênero e esportes, e um breve histórico do futebol feminino, o presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar quais são as motivações para a prática de futebol nas mulheres da equipe de futebol S. C. Black Show. Este estudo está ligado ao Garimpando Memórias, fundamentado na história oral e na história cultural. Foram realizadas entrevistas com duas atletas, com o treinador e o presidente da equipe S. C. Black Show para dar suporte ao estudo. Hoje o futebol faz parte da realidade das mulheres, mas a evolução da modalidade continua a passos curtos e lentos. As atletas continuam jogando pelo amor ao esporte e por mais que os administradores, técnicos e atletas queiram trabalhar em benefício da equipe, que queiram o crescimento da modalidade e almejam conquistas, sem receita financeira pouco se conquista.

Soccer is considered the passion of the Brazilian people, but not exclusively of the men as one may think. With the growing female participations in this modality and achievements that show the competence in official national and international competitions, a lot of girls are looking for this modality to practice. From a discussion of gender and sports, and a short historic of women‟s soccer, this study aims to analyze which are the motivations of the women to practice soccer in the soccer team S.C Black Show. This study is linked to Garimpando Memórias and it is based in the oral and cultural history. Interviews were made with two athletes, with the coach and with the president of the club S.C. Black Show to support the study. Nowadays soccer is part of the reality of the women, but the evolution of the modality continues slowly. The athletes keep on playing because they love the sport and even though the managers, coaches and athletes want to work for the good of the team and for the growing of the modality, without financial income very few is achieved.
