Abrindo caminho : a mitologia dos orixás na cultura popular brasileira e nas salas de aula

Abstract

Esse trabalho busca perceber e destacar as mudanças de paradigmas que vêm acontecendo no povo brasileiro ao deixar de super valorizar a cultura do outro e principiar uma valorização da cultura própria do Brasil. Isso será feito através de um recorte, ou seja, do viés da cultura afrobrasileira, mais especificamente da mitologia dos orixás e sua influência na cultura popular brasileira. Além de buscar compreender um pouco mais da cultura através das manifestações de matriz africana este trabalho se propõe, também, analisar brevemente de que formas ela está sendo inserida nas escolas de educação básica- por razão da Lei nº 10.639 - e como é a recepção dos alunos a essa cultura. As salas de aula servirão então, para exemplificar a hipótese de que se está abrindo espaço para as manifestações afrobrasieliras e de que elas vêm cada vez mais sendo percebidas como legítimas e importantes à formação do povo brasileiro.

This work aims to glance and highlight the paradigm changes that have been happening with the Brazilian community as they let to over value the outside culture and start to value their own culture. This will be made through a selection which will emphasize the afrobrazilian culture, specifically the orixas mythology and its influence over Brazilian popular culture. Also besides the intend to understand a little bit more of the culture through the manifestations of the African roots it aims to analyze briefly the ways in which it is being inserted in schools- for the reason of law number 10.639- and how is the reception of the students of it. The classrooms will help to exemplify the hypothesis that the society is opening space for the afrobrazilian manifestations and that this manifestations are progressively being recognized as genuine and important to the formation of Brazilian people.
