Turismo rural como ferramenta para o desenvolvimento local : um olhar para a rota turística “caminho das pipas” em Rolante/RS

Abstract

O turismo rural começou na localidade de Boa Esperança município de Rolante/RS, antes mesmo de ser regularizado no papel. A colonização italiana contribuiu com sua cultura que se espalhou pela região, onde o costume e a tradição foram despertando a formatação de novos empreendimentos como as cantinas de vinho, dando origem à criação da rota turística. A chegada dessas famílias à localidade Boa Esperança desencadeou, junto a outros fatores, o processo de expansão tecnológica da agricultura e a inserção do turismo rural e suas diretrizes nas atividades no setor rural, proporcionando o desenvolvimento e o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar e da atividade agroindustrial familiar rural. Para esse estudo buscaram-se trabalhos publicados e informações empíricas com os atores sociais rurais e com os mediadores das organizações, sendo catalogados relatos sobre o processo inicial da rota turística e, posteriormente, aplicadas entrevistas aos agricultores familiares, donos de agroindústrias familiares locais, e às instituições públicas envolvidas com a construção e o desenvolvimento da rota turística “Caminho das Pipas”. O objetivo deste trabalho concentrou-se em analisar a relação entre a construção e o desenvolvimento da rota turística na localidade de Boa Esperança, no município de Rolante - RS e o fortalecimento de agroindústrias familiares locais. Para tanto, foi utilizada a metodologia qualitativa que contou com pesquisas documentais e bibliográficas e também com entrevistas baseadas em roteiros semiestruturados, direcionados a agricultores e mediadores sociais, envolvidos com a rota turística. De acordo com os principais resultados encontrados, pôde-se compreender que a rota turística ”Caminho das Pipas” está fortalecendo a agricultura familiar local, fazendo com que várias famílias desenvolvam suas atividades na propriedade, com destaque para a produção de uvas, para suas pequenas cantinas de vinhos e sucos. As mulheres e os jovens sentem-se cada vez mais motivados por este envolvimento com o turismo rural e se engajam na ampliação de seus estabelecimentos comerciais, o que faz com que, ciclicamente, a rota turística agregue valor aos produtos e gere mais empregos e melhor qualidade para a renda familiar.

Rural tourism has began in Boa Esperança municipality, in Rolante town/RS, even before being ruled, the Italian colonization contributed with its culture that spread into the region where customs and tradition were arousing the creation of new enterprising as wine canteens, originating the tourist route. The arrival of these families to Boa Esperança initiated with other factors, the process of technological expansion of the agriculture, and the insertion of rural tourism and its guidelines in the rural section, providing the development and the strengthening of the familiar agriculture and the rural familiar agro-industrial activity. This study was based on published papers and empirical information taken with rural social actors, and also with organization mediators, being catalogued accounts about the initial process of the tourist route and, afterwards applied interviews to the familiar farmer, owners of local familiar agro-industry familiar and to the public institutions involved with the construction and development of “Caminho das Pipas” tourist route. The aim of this paper was focused on the analysis of the relation between the construction and development of the tourist route in Boa Esperança, municipality of Rolante/RS, the strengthening of local familiar agro-industries. For this, it was applied the qualitative methodology that was based on documental and bibliographical researches and also with interviews based on semi-structured interviews headed to farmers and social mediators involved with the tourist route. According to the main results found, it was understood that the “Caminho das Pipas” tourist route is strengthening the familiar local agriculture, doing with that many families develop their activities on their properties, point to the grape production for their small wine and juice canteens. Women and teenagers feel more and more motivated for getting involved with the rural tourism and gather on the enlargement of their commercial places, which make, cyclically, the tourist route gives value to the products and creates more job opportunities and a better quality for familiar incoming.
