Que corpo é esse?

Abstract

Que corpo é esse? é o título desta dissertação, que encontra uma poética referenciada nos meus desenhos. É o resultado da investigação realizada no mestrado, tendo como objeto de estudo a minha produção plástica do período entre 2001 e 2004. A utilização do desenho como meio para a realização das minhas intenções (idéias, vontades e desejos) foi o instrumento que permitiu a investigação do corpo nos seus mais diferentes aspectos: a representação e apresentação do corpo humano, o meu próprio corpo enquanto artista que realiza o gesto, a ação no desenho, e o corpo do trabalho, que é o desenho propriamente dito. Ressalto que essa reflexão encontrou subsídio teórico em autores como Flávio Gonçalves e Edith Derdyk, que abordam os processos fenomenológicos do desenho. Já para a temática do corpo, tive o embasamento teórico de autores como Paul Schilder, dentro de um viés da concepção de corpo mais holística, e Juan-David Nasio, numa vertente psicanalítica. Como referencial artístico, estabeleci relações da minha produção plástica com o trabalho de Louise Bourgeois e Kiki Smith.

What body is this? It is the title of this dissertation, which has a poetic creation referenced to my drawings, it is the result of the investigation done during the manter program, and it has as the object of study my plastic production during 2001 and 2004. Using the drawing as a means to accomplish my intentions (ideas, will and wíshes) was the tool which allowed the investigation of the body in its most different aspects: the representation and presentation of the human body, my own body as an artist who performs the gesture, the action in the drawing, and the body of the work, which is the drawing itself. I would like to point out that this thinking found a theoretical frame in authors such as Flávio Gonçalves and Edith Derdyk, who approached the phenomenological process of drawing. Now, for the theme of the body l benefited from the theoretical basis of authors such as Paul Schilder within a holistic conception of the body and Juan-David Nasio in a psychoanalytical current. As an artistic reference l established a relationship between my plastic production and that of Louise Bourgeois and Kiki Smith.
