Estudo do uso de fontes de informação pelos professores da Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Indígena Karaí Nhe'E Katu

Abstract

Este estudo de caso de natureza quali-quantitiva buscou identificar as fontes de informação materiais e intangíveis utilizadas pelos professores da Escola Estadual de Ensino Fundamental Indígena Karaí Nhe´e Katu, localizada na Comunidade Nhundy da etnia Mbyá-guarani, na Terra Indígena da Estiva no Distrito de Capão da Porteira, zona rural da cidade de Viamão. A pesquisa teve seu foco no contexto da comunidade e da escola. Os dados foram coletados através de questionários e observações dirigidas e assistemáticas. O uso das fontes materiais foi levantado a partir dos materiais disponíveis no acervo, freqüência e satisfação. A identificação do perfil foi baseada em características como idade, sexo, nível de formação e especialização, domínio de línguas. As necessidades de informação foram analisadas com os dados dos hábitos de busca e as finalidades dos mesmos. Os modos como são transmitidos os saberes e a produção de material paradidático serviram de dados para as formas de registro e transmissão dos saberes da cultura Guarani que tem uma tradição de oralidade. Foi levantado também o conhecimento, acesso e uso das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação. A análise dos dados quantitativos foi realizada através de percentuais, representados em tabelas, gráficos e textos. Os dados qualitativos foram analisados através das respostas dos professores. Também foi realizado o levantamento de sugestões dos professores para serviços de informação que atendam as necessidades informacionais e encaminhada sugestão da autora para realização de projeto de serviço de informação indígena ou biblioteca escolar indígena com telecentro rural.

This study of case of qualitative and quantitative nature it searched to identify the material and intangible sources of information used by the professors of the State School of Basic Education Aboriginal Karaí Nhe´e Katu, located in the Nhundy Community of the ethnicity mbyá-guarani, Aboriginal Land of the Stowage in the District of Capão da Porteira, agricultural zone of the city of Viamão. The research had its focus in the context of the community and the school.The data had been collected through questionnaires and directed and assystematics comments. The use of the material sources was raised from the available materials in the quantity and the frequency and satisfaction. The identification of the profile was based on characteristics as age, sex, level of formation and specialization, domain of languages. The information necessities had been analyzed with the data of the search habits and the purposes of the same ones. The ways as are transmitted to know them and the production of material for didactic had served of data for the forms of register and transmission of knowing them of the Guarani culture that has an orality tradition. It was also raised the knowledge, access and use of the Technologies of the Information and Communication. The analysis of the quantitative data was carried through through represented percentages and in tables, graphs and texts. The qualitative data had been analyzed through the answers of the professors. Also the survey of suggestions of the professors for information services was carried through that take care of the informational necessities and directed suggestion of the author for accomplishment of project of service of aboriginal information or library agricultural aboriginal school with telecentre.
