Pedagogia e projetos na sala de aula : descrevendo Porto Alegre em inglês

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar e analisar uma proposta de unidade didática elaborada para o ensino de Língua Adicional em uma escola de Ensino Médio, desenvolvido na disciplina de Estágio de Docência em Língua Inglesa II. A fundamentação teórica desse trabalho está baseada nos conceitos de letramento, além do conceito de conhecimento de mundo, abordado por Freire (1989). Também faz parte deste relato a importância de se entender os diferentes níveis de leituras, dando destaque para a leitura de imagens e de mundo, como imprescindíveis para a formação de um cidadão crítico. O conteúdo didático trabalhado durante esse período foi baseado na leitura de diferentes tipos de textos em língua inglesa, bem como na interação dos alunos e no conhecimento da cidade de Porto Alegre.

This paper aims to present and analyze a didactic unit proposal designed for the Additional Language teaching in a high school, during my Internship Practicum II. The theoretical framework is based on the notions of literacy and in the concept of world knowledge. Within this analysis, there is recognition of the importance of understanding the different levels of reading, giving emphasis to the reading of images and world, as indispensable to the formation of a critical citizen. The didactic contents worked on during this period were based on reading different types of texts in the English language, as well as on the interaction of students and on the knowledge of the students’ city, Porto Alegre.
