This paper seeks to study the viability of applying the QC-Story in Construction. The QC-Story allows the resolution of problems in a scientific way, seeking to work in root-causes and is already common in many industries, but is still unknown by most companies in the field of construction, which makes these companies, for lack of a scientific method, end up only acting on the consequences and not on the causes of the problems. After a review of the bibliography involving the QC-Story and the quality tools - needed for the execution of the method - a case study was done using the QC-Story method to solve two problems found in a construction site. In the first application - acting on the service of installation of windows - there were several advances, which implied in changing the procedures and successfully demonstrated the application of the method, although there was a limitation on the part of the company in altering the concrete for a self-compacting material which would solve the main root-cause of the problem, and also the method allowed it to act on secondary causes as well. The second application was more complicated, since there were many changes of procedure during the application of the method, which made it difficult to identify the root-cause and compromised the analysis of the effectiveness of the changes, in this case, the application was inconclusive. The great conclusion drawn from the paper is that there is viability in applying the QC-Story in construction and, more than that, there is a great potential gain in solving the problems of construction in a scientific way, acting in the root-causes and preventing the return of problems.en
