This article aims to outline the writing of the Romanian-German author Herta Müller with regard to exile. The exile is directly related to the present day, when thousands of people are forced to move from their territories of origin to others that offer, above all, security. To explore the work of Herta Müller according to this bias is not only to verify its writing from specific theories, as proposed by Ette, Said, Arendt and Greverus, but above all to analyze a writing as resistance, in the which the use of the mother tongue is the main instrument of combat.en
