As representações de mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica no jornalismo digital : uma análise das notícias veiculadas no portal R7

Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender como são construídas as representações da mulher em casos de violência doméstica publicados no portal R7. Para isso, foram selecionadas cinco notícias relacionadas à violência doméstica publicadas na página dedicada à violência contra a mulher no R7 nos primeiros oito meses de 2020. As notícias foram analisadas por meio da análise de discurso (AD) da linha francesa. Na parte teórica desta pesquisa, foram trabalhados os conceitos de gênero, relações de poder e cultura do estupro. Também foram abordados conceitos do jornalismo, das representações sociais e das tipificações. Além disso, foi apresentado um panorama geral da violência contra a mulher e, mais especificamente, a violência doméstica no Brasil. A partir da análise das notícias, encontrou-se três formações discursivas: FD1 - Mulher Responsabilizada, FD2 - Mulher Preservada e FD3 - Mulher Exposta. A predominância da FD1 mostra que o discurso machista é ainda comum e presente nas construções jornalísticas, enquanto a FD2 e a FD3 demonstram a diferença de tratamento em casos de morte, onde as vítimas têm seu direito à privacidade violado. Em relação às vozes presentes nas notícias, percebeu-se que são predominantemente de caráter oficial. Além disso, nenhuma das notícias apresenta informações necessárias para colocar esses atos de agressão no contexto de violência contra a mulher no país. Como resultado, é possível afirmar que as notícias desse teor dentro do portal R7 ainda falham por não trazer uma representação mais humanizada da mulher vítima, sem reforçar sentidos estereotipados que são predominantes na sociedade ainda machista em que se inserem.

This research aims to understand how the representations of women are constructed in cases of domestic violence published on the portal R7. To this end, five news articles related to domestic violence published on the page dedicated to violence against women in R7 in the first eight months of 2020 were selected. The news were analyzed through the speech analysis (AD) of the French line. In the theoretical part of this research, the concepts of gender, power relations and rape culture were worked on. Concepts of journalism, social representations and typifications were also addressed. In addition, an overview of violence against women and, more specifically, domestic violence in Brazil was presented. From the analysis of the news, three discursive formations were found: FD1 - Responsible Woman, FD2 - Preserved Woman and FD3 - Exposed Woman. The predominance of FD1 shows that sexist discourse is still common and present in journalistic constructions, while FD2 and FD3 demonstrate the difference in treatment in cases of death, where victims have their right to privacy violated. Regarding the voices present in the news, it was noticed that they are predominantly of an official character. In addition, none of the news features necessary information to place these acts of aggression in the context of violence against women in the country. As a result, it is possible to affirm that the news of this content within the R7 portal still fails to bring a more humanized representation of the victim woman, without reinforcing stereotyped meanings that are prevalent in the still macho society in which they are inserted.
