Ponto a ponto : saberes manuais e construção de imagens

Abstract

A presente pesquisa de Doutorado em Artes Visuais, ênfase em Poéticas Visuais, articula questões geradas pela prática artística de Raquel Alberti nos últimos quatro anos. Aborda a recorrência da figura da mão como um falar sobre os saberes manuais e sobre a estreita relação desta produção com os diagramas do trabalho artesanal, o que insere o trabalho no terreno do pensamento diagramático. Analisa sua realização ponto a ponto, o recurso da estrutura da grade em relação às técnicas de construção de imagens, às impressões gráficas e às imagens digitais, que se apresentam em profusão atualmente, especialmente diante da situação de isolamento social imposto pela pandemia da Covid-19. Essa reflexão se debruça também sobre o fazer que se desdobra no dia a dia e se relaciona ao cotidiano feminino doméstico, pensando essa produção como diários gráficos. Reflete, ainda, sobre o papel que esse tipo de trabalho empreende na reparação, conjugando aspectos relacionais e de reelaboração do sujeito.

The present Doctoral research in Visual Arts, with emphasis in Visual Poetics, articulates issues generated by the artistic practice of Raquel Alberti in the last four years. It approaches the recurrence of the figure of the hand as a way to talk about manual knowledge, and about the close relationship of this production with the crafts diagrams, which places the work in the field of diagrammatic thinking. Analizes its dot by dot construction, and the use of the grid in relation to image making techniques, to graphic printings, and to digital images, which are profusely presented nowadays, especially in the face of the situation of social isolation imposed by the Covid-19 Pandemic. This reflection also focuses on the practice that unfolds day by day and relates to the domestic feminine everyday, thinking this production as graphical diaries. It also reflects on the role that this type of work plays in reparation, combining relational aspects and re-elaboration of the self.
