Solidariedade social e efervecência coletiva na obra de Émile Durkheim : uma relação?

Abstract

Esta pesquisa se dedica a abordar a obra de Émile Durkheim empreendendo a análise de dois conceitos considerados relevantes tanto em relação ao seu conteúdo quanto para a interpretação de sua teoria como um todo. São estes: “solidariedade social”, abordado sobretudo em Da Divisão do Trabalho Social, e “efervescência coletiva”, especialmente presente em As Formas Elementares da Vida Religiosa. O objeto da investigação é a relação entre estas noções para que dessa forma se possa avaliar o caráter geral e a continuidade de questões que envolveriam o trabalho sociológico deste autor. A metodologia consistiu em leitura estrutural de material bibliográfico em uma abordagem interpretativa.

This research is dedicated to investigate Émile Durkheim`s work through an analysis of two concepts, considered relevant both in regard to content, and to the interpretation of his theory as a whole. These concepts are “social solidarity”, that appears mainly in his book The Division of Labor, and “collective effervescence”, playing a key role at The Elementary Forms of Social Life. The object of this investigation is the relationship between these two concepts, in order to asses the general character and the continuity of these questions in Durkheimian work. The methodology followed the basic principles of a structural reading and of an interpretative approach.
