Fatores influentes e a tomada de decisão nos sistemas de produção da banana no litoral norte do Rio Grande do Sul

Abstract

Os sistemas de produção agrícolas operam dentro de um ambiente dinâmico e inconstante, estimulados por agentes externos, tais como políticos, ambientais e econômicos, e internos, de cunho produtivo, social (valores, crenças). Este artigo tem como objetivo avaliar se as categorias analíticas desenvolvidas por Gasson (1973) poderiam ajudar a perceber as diferenças constitutivas nos sistemas de produção. A partir de uma visão envolvendo dois aportes teóricos, a teoria dos sistemas e a teoria da decisão, busca-se entender quais fatores teriam influência nas ações adotadas pelos agricultores ligados ao cultivo da banana no Litoral Norte do Rio Grande do Sul, a fim de definir e organizar seus sistemas produtivos. Como resultado, pode-se considerar que, associando a abordagem de sistemas de produção às categorias analíticas dos fatores influentes, a capacidade de análise dos fatores que constituem o ambiente e o espaço social onde está inserido o sistema de produção amplia-se muito, permitindo que a capacidade de compreensão das relações que integram esses sistemas esteja realmente dentro de uma visão sistêmica.

Rural production systems operate in a dynamic and inconstant environment that is stimulated by external agents such as political, random and economic, and internal agents of productive, social (beliefs, values). This paper aims to assess whether the analytical categories developed by Gasson (1973) could help understanding the constitutive differences in production systems. That is, considering the theoretical contributions of the theory of systems and the theory of decision, try to understand which factors would influence the actions taken by farmers related to the cultivation of bananas in the North Coast of Rio Grande do Sul, in order to define and organize their production systems. As a result, we can consider that, associating the theoretical perspective of production systems with the analytical categories of the factors of influence, the capacity to analyze the factors that constitute the environment and the social space within the production system is inserted expand. Allowing the capacity for reasoning and understanding of relationships within the system is actually within a systemic view.
