Uma poética, um projeto, o bruxesco e o amor : do existencial ao político em Clarice Lispector

Abstract

Este trabalho apresenta um percurso do existencial ao político arraigado às obras do filósofo existencialista francês Jean-Paul Sartre e da escritora brasileira Clarice Lispector. Ele parte do princípio de que tanto o filósofo quanto a escritora executam projetos de ação política que surgem do indivíduo e de seu estar no mundo. As diferenças de ambos, o filósofo e a escritora, para tanto, são levantadas e, com isso, a forma literária, a consciência, o ser, o engajamento, as classes sociais, o marxismo, o existencialismo, a caça às bruxas são conceitos e fatos que se entrelaçam a este percurso analítico. Constrói-se, com isso, uma poética existencial que alia indivíduo e forma literária e segue para, assim, apreender a ação política na obra de Clarice Lispector. As obras A paixão segundo G. H. e A hora da estrela, de Clarice Lispector, são o foco, embora surjam, ao longo do trabalho, contos e romances da autora que contribuam para a análise. Nesse processo, desvenda-se um projeto literário e político em que o gênero, a caça às bruxas, as classes sociais, a forma do romance são instrumentos que, politicamente, reconfiguram o ser, o sagrado e o amor.

This thesis presents a journey from the existential to the political that is rooted in the French existentialist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre and the Brazilian writer Clarice Lispector. It starts from the principle that both the philosopher and the writer carry projects of political action that arise from the individual and from his/ her being in the world. The differences of both, the philosopher and the writer raise, therefore, the literary form, the conscience, the being, the commitment, the social classes, the marxism, the existentialism, the witch hunt, which, here, are concepts and facts intertwined with this analytical path. An existential poetics is constructed that combines the individual and literary form and proceeds to apprehend political action in the work of Clarice Lispector. The novels The Passion According to G. H. and The Hour of the Star, by Clarice Lispector, are the focus, although throughout the work short stories and novels by the author appear in order to contribute to the analysis. In this process, a literary and political project is unfolded by gender, the witch hunt, social classes, the form of the novel becomes instruments that, politically, reconfigure being, the sacred and love.
