Tênis nas escolas, uma realidade possível

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho de pesquisa foi verificar e compreender as possibilidades de ensinando tênis nas escolas. Para tanto, foram lidos artigos sobre o ensino metodologias do esporte, observações sistemáticas das aulas do “Esporte Projeto Escolar: iniciação ao Tênis” e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os participação de professores formados em Educação Física no nível Fundamental. I, II e Médio. Ao final do estudo, concluiu-se que obstáculos como a falta de materiais e infraestrutura dificultam a implantação das aulas de tênis nas escolas, mas que, dentro das suas possibilidades, os professores possam buscar alternativas. No entanto, a responsabilidade não pode ser dirigida apenas ao professor, mas em paralelo com a escola fornecendo materiais de qualidade aos seus profissionais, trazendo um investimento assertivo em educação física escolar.

The objective of this research work was to verify and understand the possibilities of teaching Tennis in schools. To this end, articles were read regarding the teaching methodologies of the sport, systematic observations of the classes of the “Sports School Project: initiation to Tennis” and semi-structured interviews with the participation of teachers graduated in Physical Education at the Elementary level. I, II and Medium. At the end of the study, it was concluded that obstacles such as the lack of materials and infrastructure hinder the implementation of tennis classes in schools, but that, within their possibilities, teachers can seek alternatives. However, responsibility cannot be directed solely at the teacher, but in parallel with the school providing quality materials to its professionals, bringing an assertive investment in school physical education.
